Why use Autopilot?
Clemz offers you a wide range of features (automatic messages, synchronisations, exchanges of views & favourites, etc.) which can sometimes be a bit of a faff to run one by one and regularly throughout the day.
Autopilot runs them in sequence for you: you choose the tasks, start them once, and Clemz runs them one after the other as long as you leave a Vinted page open.
In practical terms, Autopilot is used to:
-
Respond quickly to favourites and offers, without having to stay in your messages tab
-
Synchronise your sales several times a day, without having to open the tab manually
-
Request your favourites of the day, including sending favourites that unlock the request
You retain the same settings as in each tool. Autopilot does not create a second configuration: it runs what you have already set up.
How does Autopilot work?
For greater discretion, Autopilot only runs one task at a time. As soon as one is finished, Clemz moves on to the next, ensuring that each task is properly spaced out from the previous one.
The order of activities depends on the following prioritisation:
-
Automatic messages (favourites, offers, or both): these are always prioritised to respond to requests as quickly as possible
-
Synchronise sales: to detect completed sales
- Exchange favourites
Selectable activities
-
💬Automatic messages. This works in exactly the same way as the automatic messages already described in the documentation: Messages to favourites and automatic offers. Clemz will use your existing settings unless you change them.
-
💲Synchronise sales: already described in the documentation here. Clemz uses your usual settings: shipping labels, purchase messages, dispatch messages, completion messages, feedback messages, and invoices.
-
💞Favourites exchange: Clemz sends all your favourites and then submits the request on your behalf, as explained in the documentation. Once the daily request has been created, Clemz is set, by default, to send a new one 20 hours later.
Autopilot: step-by-step guide
Open a Vinted page in the browser where Clemz is installed (Chrome, Quetta, Brave, etc.). If the extension isn’t installed yet, follow the quick start guide.
In the Clemz menu, open 🤖 Autopilot.
1. Choose the activities
Tick the boxes next to the activities you wish to run in the background (Auto Messages, Synchronise Sales, Exchange Favourites, etc.).
The ⚙ button on each line allows you to view the activity’s settings. These are the same as those already entered in the tab specific to each activity (any change in one will update the settings in the other).
-
For messages: enable the types of messages you wish to send (Favourites, Offers, or both) and check that the configuration is complete (green tick 🟢). A red cross 🔴 means a setting is missing.
-
To synchronise sales, synchronisation must have been correctly configured on your Clemz account (check the settings).
-
To exchange favourites, select the number (within your subscription limit) and, if you wish, the random total.
2. Start
- Click on 🤖 Start Autopilot
- Clemz displays a brief summary of the activities and their settings: this is your chance to check that everything is to your satisfaction.
- Confirm by clicking the green button.
Please note that Autopilot will refuse to start if another activity is already running, such as Auto Messages, sending views, etc. Stop one of them, then restart.
3. Leave a Vinted page open
As soon as you launch it, the Clemz window shows you the current and upcoming tasks:
- the countdown to the next round
- one line per activity: in progress, next slot, or time of last run
- the Stop button if you wish to stop Autopilot
Keep at least one Vinted page open and leave your device switched on: Clemz will automatically carry out the actions one after the other.
⚠️ If the computer goes into sleep mode
Clemz stops, just as it does with automated messages. The browser must remain open, with a Vinted page visible, and must not go into sleep mode.Rules you need to know
-
You only need one Vinted page open, but it is essential. If you close all your Vinted pages, Autopilot will stop after a short while.
-
Only one computer at a time. Do not run Autopilot on two browsers or two PCs using the same account. They would interfere with each other, particularly with messages and favourites.
-
Only one activity at a time. Avoid running Autopilot at the same time as another activity (auto-messaging, synchronisation, sending views or favourites, etc.)
Follow Clemz’s work
There are three places where you can see what Autopilot has done:
-
On Clemz, via the Autopilot screen (bottom left on Vinted): current activity, next scan, time of last scan. The ⚙ button on a line allows you to double-check the settings.
-
Vinted itself: the inbox for messages and offers, your orders for sales synchronisation, your closet for favourites you’ve sent.
-
The Clemz activity log, which lists every message and favourites request.
Stop Autopilot
Click ‘Stop’ on the Autopilot screen. Clemz will close the current task, reset the countdown, and return you to the normal menu.
Closing all Vinted pages will also end the session after a while.
