What is Smart Inbox?

After using Vinted for a few months, you quickly realise that Vinted messaging gets clogged up very quickly, especially if you use automatic messages to favorites. Important messages end up buried in a mass of useless conversations because they are inactive.

Smart Inbox is a Clemz feature that allows you to view your last 1,000 messages and apply filters with a single click.

It also allows you to delete several messages at once and mark them so you can easily find them later. Clemz offers four different tags to apply to your messages (🟥🟢💛🔷). You are free to decide what each tag means: message to be processed, message to be deleted in six months, message to be followed up in one month, etc.

How do I view my Smart Inbox?

To use it, you must have Clemz installed on your device. If you haven't done so yet, the quick start listing will help you install Clemz.

Once on Clemz:

  1. Go to your Vinted wardrobe from your browser
  2. On Clemz (bottom left), go to the "Smart Inbox" tab
  3. Choose your options:
    • The number of messages Clemz should load (up to 1,000) - Other messages will not be displayed.
    • If you want Clemz to display your marked messages even if they are not loaded from Vinted (so you can process them)
  4. Click on "📫 Display Smart Inbox"
  5. After a loading time, your Smart Inbox will be displayed!

How do I sort and filter my messages?

One of the most useful features of Smart Inbox is the ability to filter and sort your messages according to several criteria. This allows you to find the message(s) you are interested in so you can reply to them, delete them, mark them, etc.

All filters and sorting modes are located in the header of the Smart Inbox display. Clicking on "+ Advanced Filters" displays two additional filters. Ultimately, the options are as follows:

  • Filter by words: Enter one or more words in this field and click "OK". Clemz will then display messages whose title or Vintie name contains exactly those words.
⚠️The title of a message is set by Vinted and may randomly be the name of the listing or the last sentence written...
  • Sort: Smart wardrobe allows you to sort messages by date of last update, in ascending or descending order ⬆️ ⬇️ .
  • Filter by date: you can filter messages that were updated less than X days ago or more than X days ago.
Ideal for finding the most recent or oldest messages.
  • Special filters: a menu allows you to use interesting filters:
    • 📬 Unread displays only unread messages
    • ❌ Without listing displays only messages not linked to a listing or whose listing has been deleted
    • 😵 Disappeared Vintie displays only messages with a Vintie whose account has been deleted by Vinted and no longer exists
  • Filter by brand 🏳️: you can filter messages according to the brand you have applied to them from the 4 available 🟥🟢💛🔷

How do I delete or mark messages?

To make it easier for you to manage your messages, Clemz allows you to delete several messages at once and mark them so you can easily find them later.

Clemz offers four different labels to apply to your messages (🟥🟢💛🔷). You are free to decide what each label means: message to be processed, message to be deleted in six months, message to be followed up in one month, etc.

To mark or delete a group of messages, start by selecting them by clicking on each message.

Then, in the Clemz window, choose an action under "Manage messages".

Then click on "Start!". Clemz will delete or mark each message and then refresh Smart Inbox accordingly.

Please note that you can mark each message individually by clicking directly on the mark at the top left of each message.

Now that you have mastered Smart Inbox, sending automatic messages to your favorites should no longer be a problem. Your messages will no longer be buried and your messaging will be as well organised as your wardrobe with Smart Wardrobe🙂
