👀 Exchange views

Clemz can add views to your Vinted listings. By increasing the view counter, Clemz encourages the Vinted algorithm to highlight your items in buyers' searches.

Why add views to your Vinted listings?

Vinted's algorithm tends to highlight listings that generate a lot of interest in order to speed up their sale. Their goal? To quickly earn sales commission on items that attract attention.

Listings that receive a lot of views in the first few days after publication will be displayed higher in users' searches. This is essential for selling successfully on Vinted.

Ultimately, getting views (just like favorites) is almost as important as repost if you want to increase your visibility and therefore your sales.

The video below gives a quick overview of view exchange (and favorite exchange):

How do I exchange views with Clemz?

Clemz allows you to get views on your listings automatically. How? By giving views to the community and receiving views in return. Here's how to get your views:

0. Display Clemz

First, you need to have the Clemz extension installed on your web browser. If you don't already have it, please go here to get the extension. Then go to the Vinted website to display the extension at the bottom left of your screen.

Now go to your wardrobe page so that Clemz's "Exchange views & favorites" tab is accessible.

1. Start the exchange process

Now click on the "👀 Give then receive views" button. Clemz will then display a menu offering you the option to start sending views, because before you can receive views, you have to give some.

Note: on a computer, Clemz automatically sends views as soon as Vinted is opened. This saves you time and allows you to create a view request as soon as possible.

2. Create the view request

Once you have finished sending, make sure that the view request has been created. If so, you will see a tracker under the "Recent requests" indicator showing the number of Vinties (via Clemz exchange) who have already given you views.

Examples of displays under "Recent requests:"

  • If you see "None", it means that no requests were made yesterday or today. You can submit a request now.
  • If you see "15:20 => 13 👁️", it means that a view request was recorded from you today at 15:20 and that you have already received 13 visits from Vinties who have viewed the most recent listings in your wardrobe.

3. Wait for the views to be added

You will then receive views from other Vinties for the same request. They will visit your wardrobe and gradually view the latest listings that have been reposted with Clemz from your wardrobe, up to a limit of 40 listings and 1 view request per reposted listing.

If you have not reposted recently (= within the last 7 days) with Clemz, views will be added to the 15 most recent listings in your wardrobe.

Please refer to the section "Rules for exchanging views on Clemz" to fully understand how Clemz manages these exchanges.

What are the rules for exchanging views on Clemz?

In order to allow its users to receive views on their listings, Clemz has an automated view exchange system. Here are the 6 main rules of operation:

  1. Before you can receive views, you must distribute them to the community. Permission to make a view request is only granted if the user has already given enough views via Clemz.
  2. Clemz chooses the list of views to send and sends them from your Vinted account on your behalf. Everything is done automatically when you start sending views.
  3. Once the views have been distributed, Clemz will record your view request and send it to the next users. From then on, Vinties will visit your wardrobe and add views to your items.
  4. Each Vintie who visits your wardrobe will then add 1 view to the most recently reposted listings in your wardrobe using Clemz (up to a limit of 40 listings).
Example: you repost 50 listings in one day and then make a view request. The last 40 listings will receive views.
If you do not repost the next day and make a new request, the 10 listings from the previous day will receive views this time.
  5. If you have not reposted recently (= within the last 7 days) with Clemz, the views will be added to the 15 most recent articles in your wardrobe.
  6. You can request views every day. However, each reposted article can only receive views once per view request.
ℹ️ How do I get views on new articles?
Want views on an article that's been posted for the first time? To have it targeted by Clemz views, prepare it as a draft and then use Clemz's "♻️(re)Publish listings" feature to publish it. It will then be included in your next view request.
